BMI Team

Richard has been the President of Blackaby Ministries International since 2006. He has authored or co-authored 40 books. He speaks internationally on spiritual leadership in the home, church, and marketplace, as well as on spiritual awakening, experiencing God, and the Christian life. Richard regularly ministers to Christian CEOs as well as church and family leaders. He and his wife, Lisa, have three adult children and eight grandchildren. They live in Atlanta, GA

Rick is the Vice President of Blackaby Ministries International. He and his wife, Debbie, live in Easley, South Carolina. They have two daughters, Jamie and Betsy, two sons-in-law, Rob and Lucas, and five grandchildren.

Sam is the Director of Media for Blackaby Ministries International. He holds a two-year Bible degree, a BBA and an MBA. He enjoys travelling, making films, and photography. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Carrie.

Bob is Director of Coaching for Blackaby Ministries International. He oversees all aspects of BMI coaching. He has invested his life in coaching and mentoring Christian leaders in a variety of contexts, including as a collegiate minister, seminary professor, professional coach, and pastor. Bob is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Georgia Coaches Association.

Steve is the Manager of IT and Online Training for Blackaby Ministries International. Steve also serves as the Director of Online Education and the Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary & College in Cochrane, Alberta where he teaches.

Carrie is the Content Manager at BMI. She is Richard Blackaby's daughter and Henry Blackaby's oldest granddaughter. She holds a BA in English, an MFA in Nonfiction Writing, and a Master of Theological Studies degree. She is an avid reader, runs marathons and manages a travel blog called "Maple and Maps" with her husband Sam. She lives in the Atlanta area.

Daniel is Henry Blackaby's grandson and the author/co-author of nine books for young adults, including 7 Steps for Knowing, Doing, and Experiencing the Will of God, and When Worlds Collide: Stepping Up and Standing Out in an Anti-God Culture, as well as the imaginative fiction trilogy The Lost City Chronicles. Daniel holds a Ph.D in “Christianity and the Arts” and a Th.M in “Philosophy, Apologetics & Worldview” from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Daniel speaks on cultural engagement, Christianity and the arts, apologetics, and reaching the next generation for Christ.

Bob is the Director of Experiencing God Weekends and Church Support for Blackaby Ministries International. He has served under the personal mentorship and teaching of Dr. Henry Blackaby for twenty years. Henry and Marilynn Blackaby are members of his Sunday School class.

Joni is a Graphic Designer for Blackaby Ministry International and First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Minor in Photography. She is fluent in Vietnamese and English, and in the process of learning Korean.

In her early career, Rebecca worked in hospitality, retail, and manufacturing. After moving to Georgia in 2002, she began working in and learning all aspects of eye care - supporting the doctors, her colleagues, and patients by providing the best service possible in transition of systems and upgrades. In this role, Rebecca exercised her skills in project management, became a certified Professional in Human Resources, and worked alongside her team mates to streamline efficiencies. Rebecca is excited to align her project management skills and attention to detail with Blackaby Ministries International! Rebecca plays the flute in the orchestra at First Baptist of Jonesboro, and has a cat named Lily who demolishes everything! Rebecca would love to hear your testimony and to share with you hers - she is looking forward to answering your calls at the BMI office!

Nyah is an Atlanta-based filmmaker who specializes in screenwriting, directing, and costuming. She joined The Collision in September 2025 to help more and more believers engage in culture without losing their faith. She hopes to one day write and direct independent films and documentaries with her friends.
