Recently Chaplain Doug Miannay shared how he is using the devotional Experiencing God Day by Day to minister to inmates through the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
“Early in my Christian walk (saved at 38) I discovered the Experiencing God Bible Study, and God used it to significantly impact my early growth as a believer. Because of how powerfully it affected my life, I began teaching it to various groups over the years. After retiring from a corporate career, I became a volunteer staff chaplain at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office where my main duties were ministering to the inmates. When I discovered the Experiencing God Day By Day devotional, it quickly became a regular handout (along with a Bible) to inmates when they come to the facility… I can’t thank Blackaby Ministries enough for the impact Experiencing God made on my life as well as the impact the devotional is having in countless other lives here in Cherokee County.”

I spoke and prayed with Chaplin Doug. While in Custody I re devoted my life to God and Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I cannot thank him enough.
